Invitation
(Step 1)

Dear Friend of the Atlanta Prophecy Conference:

As Founder and Chairman, I want to announce that we will not be holding the Atlanta Prophecy Conference in 2008.  I am making plans to attend the Feast of Tabernacles Celebration in Jerusalem, Israel with the International Christian Zionist Center under the leadership of Rev. Jan Willem von der Hoeven.

Pastor von der Hoeven asked that I personally extend an invitation to you to be part of this exciting event, as well.  The trip is under the auspices of the International Christian Zionist Center. You can, however, designate on the ICPZ registration form that you heard about this event through Rev. Porter with Lillie Rose Ministries International and thus participate in the great group prices that are being offered by the ICZC.

I am enclosing the proposed itinerary for the trip, the price sheet and a registration form.  There is a place to indicate that you would like to extend your 7 day trip to 10 days and take in even more exciting places in the Holy Land that you have read about in the Bible.

Also, you will find a response card just to let me know that you have registered so that we can accommodate all friends of this ministry in a central location in the 4 Star accommodations at the Jerusalem Hyatt Hotel and on a designated bus(s) for our group.

I am so looking forward to this trip and I would love to have you join the ICZC as we prepare to go to the Holy Land for the trip of a lifetime.  I promise you, based on previous experience with the ICZC, it will not be the “typical tourist” tour, but rather a deep and meaningful experience that will enhance your spiritual life.

Hoping to get your card back so that I know you, too, are going!

INVITATION TO THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES 2008

But Peter standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said ... (Acts 2:14)

When the Holy Spirit falls, it is not necessary that there be scheduled speakers, even if this is the general custom at most Christian conferences and conventions today.
When the Holy Spirit fell on the day of Pentecost "Peter stood up with the eleven" and so became the spokesman, not only of the Holy Spirit, but also of the eleven other apostles!
This is what we would want to see happen again in Jerusalem, seeing men and women arise who, through the double outpouring of the Holy Spirit, will truly then have the Word of the Lord for that time and occasion.
It is against the background of the rich New Testament experience of the early church that Paul, the Apostle, can write:
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:7-12)
How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two o r at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret. But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God. Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged. And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.  (1 Corinthians 14:26-33)

It has been so, especially in past revivals, that the flesh and pride of man was pushed back and subdued in favor of those broken and sanctified vessels who, like Peter, truly had God's Word for the hour and spoke it forth under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The presence of the Lord and the purity of His Word was such a reality in those meetings that those who tried to speak in their own strength and wisdom were quickly discerned as such.
It is a difficult road back, for we are all so used to catching people with well-known names and exciting, well-formulated programs. And yet, the closer we draw to our Lord, the more we will realize that He - not our beautiful programs - is our Pearl of great price, and nothing can be compared to the actual presence and revelation of Himself, and what issues from that experience in relation to our own lives, and our own need of forgiveness, restoration, healing and direction!
It is in this light that we have drawn up the program for the 2008 Christian celebration during the Feast of Tabernacles, which we once more enclose herewith.
We also include a link in this email to our brother, Don Cobble's, beautiful prepared video of highlights from last year's Feast of Tabernacles.

Please use this promotional production to challenge and inspire your family members, friends and fellow believers to make themselves ready and prepared to come this year to what we pray will be an even more sensational Feast for the Lord and His people Israel.
Please let us know, as soon as you are able, whether you are able to come, and how many you will bring with you!
If you are thinking of bringing a group, we will gladly send you this video as a DVD, together with Feast brochures as soon as they are ready. (Please indicate how many you want and send us your snail mail address.)
May the Lord, Who is our all sufficiency, provide ways for you to save the necessary money to follow His bidding to be at this, so crucial, Feast of Tabernacles.
We bless you in His Name,
Jan Willem van der Hoeven, Director
